We all know that high-gloss finishes deteriorate easily and quickly as a result of scratches and cleaning with unsuitable tools and chemicals, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Omar Coatings has developed a high-gloss finish that meets the highest requirements for this type of nanotechnological varnish: OMARCRIL SH GLOSS.<\/strong>The product has been developed using <strong>biomimetic techniques<\/strong>, i.e. it imitates examples of natural self-healing. For example, when we cut ourselves, the human body can repair the damaged area by covering it with platelets and then regenerating dermis and epidermis; another example is how a lizard regenerates an amputated limb.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LfxOT5CUXQM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We have been able to develop this new <strong>self-healing or self-repair<\/strong> product thanks to current knowledge of nanomaterials applied to special latest-generation polymers in combination with microencapsulation techniques.&nbsp;<strong>OMARCRIL SH GLOSS<\/strong> can be considered a modern material that falls neatly under the definition of <strong>Smart Coating<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It is a transparent topcoat added to a standard coating process based on surface-priming finished in any colour as required.<br \/>\nThe hardening process requires a hardener based on aliphatic polyisocyanates. This makes the coating <strong>resistant to ultraviolet light, affording it permanent gloss and excellent chemical resistance<\/strong>.
